District 219's Communication program centers on preparing our students to navigate the world of 21st Century mass communication. Our individual course offerings provide students direct experience to the theory, practice and application of communication strategies. 

 

As citizens of a global community, it is more important now than ever that our students can communicate to a variety of audiences through a variety of channels. Equally essential is ensuring our students can understand and decipher the messages they receive through these channels.
